Group Sales Team Member

No prior experience required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Group Sales Coordinator in all aspects of the group booking process from lead building, to make a reservation, to day of event execution.
• Responsible for providing group information and assisting with reservations over the phone, in-person, or by email.
• Contact existing group events to confirm reservation details
• Coordinate ticket and wristband distribution
• Assist with group events such as birthday parties, catered functions and other group related events.
• Develop knoledge and understanding of the park booking system
• Efficiently track and manage group ticket sales
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
• Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
• Assist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark including facility layout and amenities
• Follow all park policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office Proficient
• Approachable, outgoing and excited about suggestive selling
• Ability to accept guidance and supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
• Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 25 pounds, team lift as needed and for heaving objects

We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date. Details about eligibility requirements for the Retention Bonus will be provided at a later date.
