About the Role
This is a full-stack engineering role at a fast-moving developer-tools and AI-native software company, pointed entirely at growth. You will own the signup, activation, onboarding, and conversion experience end to end, and you will be measured on the funnel metrics you move, not just the features you ship. The company runs a strong product-led growth motion, and this role sits at the center of it from day one.
The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer who has personally owned a conversion or activation metric and moved it, not just shipped features someone else measured. You think like a scientist, form hypotheses, run real A/B tests, and iterate fast on what works. Experience with developer-facing products (SDKs, docs surfaces, APIs, onboarding flows) and with LLMs in production is a meaningful plus. The company values real tenure and people who stay with their work long enough to see it through.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the full growth surface end to end, covering signup, activation, onboarding, and conversion flows
2. Instrument the funnel, identify drop-off points, and run structured experiments that move real metrics
3. Build full-stack, from the frontend a developer first touches to the backend logic that powers it
4. Treat conversion and activation as your number: measure it, own it, and move it
5. Form data-driven hypotheses, run A/B and multivariate tests, and iterate quickly on results including tests that did not go as planned
6. Ship in-product growth surfaces such as onboarding sequences, upgrade flows, and in-product guidance
7. Work closely with data to close the loop on every experiment and carry learnings into the next iteration
Required Skills & Experience- 3 or more years of full-stack engineering experience, with meaningful time spent on growth or PLG products
- Demonstrated personal ownership of a conversion, activation, or funnel metric with measurable results
- Hands-on experience running real A/B tests and articulating what was learned, including from failures
- Proficiency across the full stack, frontend through backend, with production-quality output
- Experience working on developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, playgrounds, or docs surfaces
- Track record of sustained tenure on teams, showing the ability to see work through to real outcomes
- Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship (US citizen or Green Card holder)
Preferred Skills- Familiarity with Next.js, React, Tailwind, TypeScript, Vercel, or PostgreSQL
- Experience building with LLMs in production, including prompt engineering, tool use, or inference pipelines
- Background shipping in-product growth surfaces at a dev-tools or SaaS company such as onboarding flows, activation sequences, or upgrade paths
- Experience at companies with strong developer-experience or growth-engineering cultures, such as Vercel, Stripe, Retool, Supabase, PostHog, Notion, Figma, Ramp, or similar
- Familiarity with conversion page optimization that measurably moved signup numbers
