    Description

    About Us

Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses, whether online, in-person, or both.

With Arketa, users can easily manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, and run marketing campaigns via text and email. We also offer fully branded apps and websites, so studios can deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.

We've raised $15M in Series A funding and are growing quickly. It's a unique moment to join us. We're building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we're looking for teammates who are excited to help shape the future of wellness.

What It's Actually Like to Work Here

We move fast and we expect ownership. The team is mission-obsessed, lean, and unafraid to roll up our sleeves. You'll work directly with our CEO and leadership team on decisions that shape the company. We celebrate wins, learn from misses, and protect each other's energy along the way.

    The Role

This is a hands-on-keyboard growth role. You will own Arketa's paid acquisition engine, primarily Meta and Google, and you will be in the accounts yourself: building campaigns, testing creative, reading the data, and deciding where the next dollar goes. You are not managing people who do the work. You are doing the work, with a small pod of specialists pointed at the same number.

Today our channels are working. Your first job is to make them sharper and more efficient, then figure out what the next channel is before we need it. You'll set the acquisition model, run the experiments, and make the call on where we press and where we pull back.

The way you work matters as much as your track record. We expect AI to be part of your daily practice: analyzing performance data, generating and iterating ad creative, building target lists, and automating the workflows that would otherwise eat your week. We would rather hire one operator who is heavily leveraged by tooling than three people who are not.

Arketa is the only platform in our space with marketing, referral and gamification, and payroll and accounting all built fully in-house. We're going deep on vertical AI, embedding intelligence across the platform so wellness operators can automate the busywork and focus on growth. We have product market fit and brand awareness compounding fast. We need someone who can turn that momentum into predictable, measurable pipeline.

This role is hybrid 3-days to our NYC (NoHo) office.

    Your Pod

You'll direct a small, focused group and have real authority over its shape:

    • Two fractional channel specialists, one on paid social and one on paid search

    • A marketing manager who owns our gifting program

    • A partnerships and events manager

    30-60-90 Day Goals

    • First 30 days: Get into the accounts. Audit channel performance, spend, and unit economics (CAC, payback, pipeline contribution by channel). Meet the pod, the CEO, Sales, and RevOps. Come back with an honest read on what's working and what isn't.

    • First 60 days: Own the acquisition model. Make your first budget reallocation calls. Ship your first round of creative and audience tests. Give us a point of view on the contractor roster.

    • First 90 days: Own the number. Have a live experimentation roadmap, a reporting model the CEO can read in two minutes, and a recommendation on the next channel to stand up.

    What You'll Do

    • Own Meta and Google end to end as our primary acquisition channels: budget, structure, audiences, creative testing, and measurement

    • Direct a small pod across paid social, paid search, gifting, and events, and make the calls on who stays and what we add

    • Build and maintain the acquisition model that ties every dollar of spend to pipeline, CAC, payback, and revenue

    • Use AI daily to move faster than a team our size should be able to: performance analysis, creative production, list building, and workflow automation

    • Run gifting and events as measurable pipeline channels, not brand exercises

    • Partner closely with our SDR team, Sales, and RevOps on lead quality, handoff, and conversion

    • Test emerging acquisition surfaces, including AEO and GEO, and tell us honestly whether they are real

    • Manage the growth budget with conviction, leaning into what's working and cutting what isn't on evidence

    What We're Looking For

    • You are running paid acquisition right now, hands on the accounts, and you can talk about last week's numbers from memory

    • You have managed six figures or more in monthly ad spend

    • You have been at a high-growth company through a real scale step, roughly $30M to $100M+ ARR, and you can tell us what the ARR was when you joined versus when you left

    • AI is genuinely embedded in how you work day to day, not something you tried once

    • Strong analytical instincts: you are comfortable in spreadsheets and dashboards, you build your own reporting, and you can defend a spend decision with data

    • You are comfortable directing contractors and specialists without wanting to build a large team underneath you

    • You prioritize ruthlessly and are happy to make confident calls in ambiguity

    • Genuine interest in wellness, fitness, or studio operations

We are deliberately flexible on years of experience. What matters is what you have actually run.

    You Should Apply If

    • You want to own an acquisition number end to end and partner directly with a co-founder CEO

    • You would rather be in the accounts than in a calendar full of one-on-ones

    • You think in terms of pipeline, CAC, and payback, not vanity metrics

    • You have opinions about which AI tools are worth the subscription and which are not

    • You're mission-driven and excited about wellness becoming more accessible

You May Not Want to Apply If

    • You're looking for a role with established playbooks and clearly defined processes (you'll be building many of them here)

    • You want to move into pure people management, since this role is IC-leaning by design

    • You're not comfortable leveraging AI tools to amplify your own output

    • You want a slower pace or a more established later-stage environment

    What We Offer

    • Competitive Salary and Stock Options

    • Lunch and snacks in our NYC office

    • Unlimited PTO: our policy is designed to give you the flexibility to rest, recharge, and take care of personal needs while staying aligned with your team and responsibilities

    • Medical, dental, and vision health insurance

    • Fitness Class Reimbursement: we're committed to supporting both employee wellness and our industry relationships. As an Arketa employee, we see movement as opportunity.

    • Parental Leave Policy

For this role, the total compensation range is $110,000 to $160,000. We also have equity as part of our total compensation package. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we're happy to provide more detail during the interview process.

Arketa is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in its workforce. We actively encourage applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters innovation and creativity, and we welcome candidates who share our values of respect, collaboration, and excellence.
