This role provides technical oversight, conducts inspections, and supports maintenance and modernization efforts in alignment with national codes and GSA requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections and ensure compliance with ASME A17.1 and related standardsProvide technical guidance on vertical transportation systemsReview maintenance, inspection, and condition reportsSupport repairs, modernization, and new installationsMaintain asset inventories and performance dataAnalyze system performance and recommend improvementsCoordinate with contractors and stakeholdersServe as liaison for maintenance and repair activitiesTravel required: As needed (out of state)Qualifications:Current and valid Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) Certification from the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities (NAESA) or equivalent authority.In-depth knowledge of ASME A17.1, ANSI, and other national codes related to elevator and escalator safety and operations.Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation.Skilled in analyzing inspection data, maintenance trends, and contractor performance metrics.Ability to evaluate technical specifications, analyze maintenance data and inspection reports, and identify equipment deficienciesAbility to explain technical principles related to Vertical TransportationStrong written and verbal communication skills with attention to technical detail.Ability to organize and analyze design data, manage multiple tasks, and function effectively in a team environment.Your Experience:Must be a U.S. CitizenBachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical systems, or related field preferred5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in vertical transportation systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
