Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered ground support equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a GSE or aviation environment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary certifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
