Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on diesel- and gasoline-powered GSE, including de-ice trucks and other fleet vehicles. Support fleet reliability by completing maintenance tasks and mentoring junior technicians.


Growth Opportunities:


+ Lead small maintenance projects.

+ Opportunity to advance to Level III – Lead / Advanced Technician.


Responsibilities


+ Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on all GSE, including de-ice trucks.

+ Troubleshoot engines, hydraulics, electrical, and automotive systems.

+ Assist with repairs, engine/component removal, and minor overhauls.

+ Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records.

+ Mentor Level I Technicians and provide guidance on fleet operations.

+ Collaborate with operations to prioritize maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.


Qualifications


+ 1–3 years of mechanical, automotive, or heavy equipment maintenance experience OR strong mechanical aptitude with training.

+ Experience with diesel engines and diesel-powered equipment preferred.

+ Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

+ CDL preferred but not required.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.

+ Must successfully complete a pre-employment non-DOT drug test and FAA background check.

+ Valid driver's license required.
