Job Description

Summary:

The GSOC Analyst must be detail oriented, have a strong aptitude in communication and analytical thinking when responding to events, as well as having a team-first mentality. Daily responsibilities will focus on the monitoring of global events from a variety of sources, assess impact and then disseminate those `incidents to the appropriate parties. Analysts must be able to effectively comprehend data and compose clear and effective communications that will have a global audience. The Analyst will regularly monitor incident management systems & intelligence tools to respond to any incidents.

This full time role (40 hours minimum per week) generally works 10PM - 6AM for 8 hour shifts, and 6PM - 6AM for 12 hour shifts, with overtime available as needed.

Essential Functions:

Monitor incident notifications of locations providing analysis, data gathering, and investigation when neededMonitor events (developing situations, tradeshows, security events, incidents, disasters, and other crises) through open-source collection and coordination with local assetsRespond to inbound calls from employees and security personnel providing customer service focused responsesMonitor advisories that have the potential to impact business travelers and escalate to security teamWrite security incident investigation reports to provide situational awareness and communicate risks to managementMonitor designated online tools to conduct situational awareness on social media platformsMake intelligent decisions and take actions based on credibility, likelihood, and meaningful information.Collect, evaluate, and disseminate information as needed including supporting research for intelligence and situation awareness briefingsMake intelligent decisions in a manner that reflects cogent interpretation of all meaningful informationContribute to procedures and processes to standardize and enhance risk managementWork closely with different security teamsProvide emergency and non-emergency security monitoring and escalation notificationProcess and maintain a wide variety of files, logs, reports, and formsThis Job Description is not a comprehensive list of all required activities, duties, or responsibilities. Required and Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Either bachelor's degree or equivalent military experienceHave an interest or direct experience in the following: Executive Protection, Intelligence, Operations, Critical Incident Management or Corporate Security, Crisis Management, or Emergency ResponseMust be well-versed in current technologies and open-source search methodologiesMust be a competent user of Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and other similar tools.Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentialityMust be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situationsMust be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situationsDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsSuccessful client management experienceA demonstrated history of effective conflict resolution skillsMaintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situationsAbility to attend training events that fall outside normal work hoursAbility to work 8 to 12-hour shifts both days and nightsExperience using OSINT tools such as Everbridge, Liferaft, Factal, ISOS, etc.Experience working with various CCTV/Alarm platforms is strongly preferred
