Role Summary
Leads delivery of large-scale, highly complex cybersecurity and risk mitigation projects/workstreams. This role is responsible for orchestrating end-to-end execution across vulnerability remediation, technology debt reduction, identity and access governance, AI exposure management, supply chain protection, and adversarial testing capabilities.
Operates with minimal oversight in ambiguous, high-risk environments, driving alignment across engineering, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders. Ensures delivery against aggressive timelines, regulatory expectations, and enterprise risk reduction goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Workstream Leadership
Lead multiple concurrent Mythos defensive workstreams, including:
Vulnerability Remediation
Technology Debt Remediation
Identity & Access Governance (IAG)
AI Exposure Management (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon implementation)
Supply Chain Exposure Management (e.g., CrowdStrike Shield)
Continuous Adversarial Testing (e.g., Promptfoo, Horizon3/Pentera)
Establish and manage project plans with clear dependencies, risks, and milestones
Drive cross-workstream coordination to ensure alignment, sequencing, and risk mitigation
Execution & Delivery Management
Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, and financials across multiple workstreams
Ensure delivery against committed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks and issues - particularly those impacting security posture or regulatory compliance
Implement structured governance, including executive-level reporting, risk reviews, and decision forums
Stakeholder & Governance Leadership
Serve as the primary point of coordination across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Engineering, Risk, and Business stakeholders
Facilitate executive steering committees and governance forums to drive timely decision-making
Translate technical risks and remediation strategies into clear executive-level insights
Build strong partnerships across internal teams and external vendors
Tool & Platform Implementation Oversight
Manage delivery of security tooling implementations and integrations, including:
Endpoint protection and exposure management platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike)
Adversarial testing and attack simulation platforms (Promptfoo, Horizon3/Pentera)
Ensure alignment between tool deployment, operational processes, and enterprise controls
Coordinate with architecture and engineering teams to embed solutions into the ecosystem
Risk, Compliance & Security Focus
Drive measurable improvement in enterprise risk posture through coordinated remediation efforts
Ensure adherence to security standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations
Track and report on key risk reduction metrics (e.g., vulnerability closure rates, exposure reduction, control effectiveness)
Financial & Business Case Management
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
Ensure financial transparency across all assigned workstreams
Leadership & Mentorship
Provide leadership and direction to project coordinators, business systems analysts, and extended delivery teams
Drive adoption of standard methodologies and delivery best practices
Qualifications
Required
10+ years of experience in project management leading complex, enterprise initiatives
Proven experience working in multi-workstream programs with high complexity and cross-functional dependencies
Strong experience delivering cybersecurity or risk-related initiatives (e.g., vulnerability management, IAM/IAG, security tooling)
Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, high-pressure environments with significant executive visibility
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong financial management and forecasting experience
Preferred
Experience implementing security platforms such as CrowdStrike or similar endpoint/security tools
Experience with adversarial testing or red-team simulation platforms
Knowledge of AI/ML risk management and exposure mitigation practices
PMP or equivalent certification
Experience in insurance or financial services environments
