About this Job
Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Guard. The Guard is in the Public Safety department. This is a full-time position.
Guards at Baton Rouge Community College help ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for patrolling campus facilities, enforcing security regulations, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related incidents to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications
No experience or training is required.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants may be required to possess a current Louisiana drivers license.

Probationary appointment with a one-year agency probationary period. Successful completion of this period is required before obtaining permanent status.
