Location: Atlanta, GA — Full time, in office at our main office in Vinings, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Note: Must have 2+ years of law firm experience specifically handling adult guardianship and conservatorship matters in Georgia. Experience with probate and estate planning is a strong plus.

Job Description
- Prepare and file petitions for adult guardianship and conservatorship in Georgia probate courts, particularly throughout metro Atlanta.
- Manage case timelines, court deadlines, filings, correspondence, and required documentation.
- Coordinate and track service of process, court hearings, evaluations, and other court requirements.
- Communicate directly with clients and families to gather information, answer questions, and provide case updates.
- Maintain detailed, organized electronic case files in a paperless environment.
- Prepare and file probate petitions and related documents.
- Assist with drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor deadlines and proactively identify time sensitive or urgent issues.
- Ensure filings and case activity comply with court rules, procedures, and firm standards.
- Support attorneys throughout the lifecycle of guardianship, conservatorship, probate, and estate planning matters.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of law firm experience handling adult guardianship and conservatorship matters.
- Experience with Georgia probate courts and metro Atlanta filings strongly preferred.
- Probate and estate planning experience is a plus.
- Some college required; degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite; Mac OS experience preferred.
- Clio, WealthCounsel, or ElderCounsel experience is beneficial.
- Professional, compassionate, and discreet when handling sensitive client matters.
