Guardrail Installer with CDL

Job Title: Guardrail Installer (CDL Required)

Position Summary:

Long® Fence, the industry leader for over 80 years is seeking an experienced Installer with a valid CDL License. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Guardrail Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation of highway guardrail systems and the safe operation of heavy trucks and equipment in active, high-traffic work zones. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in physically demanding environments and committed to maintaining high safety standards.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Occasional night shifts required based on project needs

Shift Requirements: This position may require night shift work. The night shift work is project specific and can be assigned periodically. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair highway guardrail systems in accordance with company and industry standards
• Operate commercial vehicles and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Work in high-traffic environments while adhering to all safety protocols
• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites
• Perform general labor duties as needed to support project completion

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (required)
• Experience in construction, roadway work, or guardrail installation preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly
• Ability to work outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions
• Capable of performing physically demanding labor for extended periods

Compensation:

• Maximum pay rate is $33.00 per hour
• Minimum pay rate is $25.00 per hour 

Compensation is based on experience.
