The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Guest Relations Agent to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Guest Relations Agent will be responsible for communicating with guests during the prearrival experience and ensure preferences are met during their stay.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner; ensure knowledge of all hotel and daily events
Build insightful guest profiles, collect and record all guest preference information and promote special hotel programs.
Respond and resolve to guest inquiries in an empowered and prompt manner following Forbes standards.
Resolves all guest problems and complaints.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all hotel services and outlets information, such as hours of operation, hotel policies and key personnel etc
Maintain familiarity with local scene (shopping, restaurants, theatre, spa, live music, concerts and events) to provide relevant recommendations to guests in accordance to their preferences.
Communicate effectively with management and other departments and assist when needed in order to exceed the guest’s expectations.
Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity, and a strong work ethic
Qualifications:

1 year of Front Office Experience or equivalent.
Excellent computer and word processing skills preferred
Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred.
Multiple languages a plus but not required.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
Physical demands: Ability to lift 20 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing.
