Whether you're looking for a great way to earn extra income, gain hands-on experience, or work in a fun and fast-paced environment, we have the perfect opportunity for you.POSITION Guest Room AttendantJOB DESCRIPTION Under the direct supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, the position will clean and restock guest rooms at the resort hotel.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip and make beds, change bed linens.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly. Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to maintain a professional status through interface with customers. Must be able to maintain a professional working relationship with management and co-workers. Must be able to work flexible schedules. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
