The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining all standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel, as directed.

  • Ability to communicate with hotel guests, announcing arrival at door, and comprehending special requests from guests.
  • Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible. Must be able to use the equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, vacuum, cleaning supplies and safety equipment.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area.
  • Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required.
  1. Cleans hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, employee and storage areas in the hotel in consist standardized manner.

  2. Is responsible for maintaining and cleaning all equipment used throughout the course of a shift, as detailed in the SOP.

  3. Maintains proper documentation of all duties accomplished during a working shift, as directed.

  4. Reports all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling.

  5. Abides by all security/safety measures.

  6. Greets all guests throughout shift, responds to guest request.

  7. Performs all duties in a quiet and orderly manner.

  8. Keeps the operating cart clean and neat with sufficient supplies.

  9. Keeps the assigned floor clean and free of trash and linens.

  10. Expediently turn in any lost and found items on property to the Management.

  11. Replenishing each guest rooms with standardized amenities and materials.

  12. Cleans any biohazard materials with proper safety equipment.

  13. Performs all Housekeeping related assignments and duties.

  14. Reports room and hall deficiencies to PBX/Supervisor and follows up on completion.

  15. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
