Location: Catskill, NY
Pay: $21/hour
Job Type: Temporary July- November.
Schedule: Full time,  flex schedule 7:00am-3:30pm, 11:00am-7:30pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm 



 Position Summary:
The Guest Service Agents will work in conjunction with Guest Services Supervisor and Assistant Operations Manager to ensure that guests receive the highest level of Hospitality while staying at hotel.

Essential Responsibilities:
  •  Check-in and Checkout all hotel guests.
  •   Act as an ambassador of hotel to ensure all guests receive unparalleled hospitality.
  •   Maintain efective communication with all departments of hotel.
  •   Exhibit a high level of knowledge of the local area including dining, recreation and attractions.
  •  Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the property, amenities and hotel as a brand.
  •  Answer phone calls and respond to guest emails in a professional manner.
  •  Complete daily checklists
  •   Maintain cleanliness of all public areas in the main house.
  •   Conduct routine inspections of Main House & Spa, addressing any potential safety hazards and cleanliness issues.
  •   Be accessible to guests; listen to their concerns and ideas, interpret their needs, convey understanding, resolve concerns, and pass along information to the Supervisor
  •  Be accommodating of a schedule that will consist of morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and/or holiday shifts.
  •   Perform any and all duties as required as hotel develops and changes over time.

Required Qualifcations:
  •  Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Hotels/Resorts, boutique property desired.
  •  Must be fluent in English with strong verbal and written skills
  •   Be self-motivated and have the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  •  Dress in uniform and maintain proper personal hygiene.
  •  Strong planning and organizational skills.
  •  Computer skills; including Google Docs and Sheets.
  •  Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  •  Be able to spend long periods of time standing
  •  Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation

Required Skills:
  •  Strong computer experience; including Google Docs and Sheets.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively work with multiple teams across the property to respond to business needs.
  •  Strong organizational skills.

Working Conditions:
  • A Guest Service Agent is stationed at the entrance of the Main House at a seated front desk, but will need to stand frequently, and move around the Main House and property to complete all given tasks.
