Overview:

TheFront Desk Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest serviceexperiences from check-in through check-out. This role serves as the primarypoint of contact for guests, ensuring efficient operations at the front deskwhile upholding Courtyard by Marriott brand standards. The ideal candidate isprofessional, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a welcoming andseamless guest experience.

KeyResponsibilities:

- Welcome and greet guests upon arrival with a positive attitudeand provide prompt and courteous service. 

 - Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring all detailsare accurate. 

 - Handle guest inquiries and requests, both in-person and over the phone,ensuring their needs are addressed in a timely manner. 

 - Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area.

- Promote Marriott Bonvoy membership and brand programs. 

 - Manage reservations, cancellations, and any modifications accurately in thehotel management system. 

 - Process payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuringproper billing and handling of guest accounts.- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and localattractions. 

 - Resolve any guest complaints or issues with empathy and professionalism,escalating to management when necessary. 

 - Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

 Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality orrelated degree is a plus. 

 - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel orhospitality setting. 

 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

 - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 

 - Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

 - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. 

 - A positive demeanor, team-oriented mentality, and a strong work ethic.

- Prior hotel front desk experience.

- Experience with Marriott systems (e.g., FOSSE, MARSHA).
