Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
Perform check-in and check-out processes accurately using the property management system.
Answer and direct phone calls; take and modify reservations as needed.
Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and directions.
Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary.
Process payments, verify identification, and maintain accurate guest records.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Two years of experience at a high-end hotel.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Window programs.
Previous front desk or customer service experience in a hotel setting preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Michigan Gaming Control Board, in accordance with state regulations.
