As a Guest Service Agent at Lakes Inn at Dunvilla, you are the face the hotel. You aren’t just checking people in; you are the curator of their vacation experience. Whether it’s a family reunion or a quiet weekend getaway, your goal is to provide warm, professional service that reflects the charm of the Lakes Area.
The First Impression: Greet guests with a genuine smile, manage the check-in/check-out process efficiently, and handle reservations via phone and online systems.
Concierge Expertise: Provide "insider" knowledge on local Dunvilla and Pelican Rapids attractions, dining, and seasonal activities.
Problem Solver: Address guest concerns or special requests with empathy and a "can-do" attitude to ensure every stay is seamless.
Operational Support: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and up to our high standards.
Financial Integrity: Process payments accurately, manage cash drawers, and maintain guest billing records.
Personality: Naturally hospitable, outgoing, and able to stay calm under pressure (especially during the busy summer "lake season").
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
Tech Savvy: Ability to learn property management software (PMS) and handle basic office equipment.
Flexibility: Availability to work a varying schedule, including weekends and holidays, as travel never takes a day off!
Local Love: A basic knowledge of the Pelican Rapids/Dunvilla area is a major plus.
