**Job Summary:**
The Guest Service Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests, assisting with their inquiries and needs, and ensuring their overall satisfaction during their stay. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality is a plus
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet guests upon arrival, check them in, and provide information about hotel services and amenities
- Assist guests with check-out process, including handling payments and issuing receipts
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
- Resolve any guest complaints or issues efficiently and escalate to management when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and staff
- Uphold the hotel's standards and policies at all times to provide a high-quality guest experience
**Additional Requirements:**
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects if needed
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
