    POSITION SUMMARY

    Coordinates front office activities of hospitality or property management division and resolves problems arising from guests' complaints, reservation and room assignment activities, and unusual requests and inquiries by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Understand TRACK reservation system to perform daily duties and training.

    • Confers and cooperates with other department heads to ensure coordination of guest and owner services: housekeeping, maintenance, shuttle and personally fulfills required task(s) if the need arises.

    • Hires quality employees, trains, and actively participates in planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Assures adherence to management company policies and established operating and safety procedures.

    • Develops and implements training procedures to assure development and retention of a quality work force, and to ensure health and safety protocols are followed by all staff. This includes initial training and orientation for new staff, as well as ongoing training for experienced staff.

    • Creates an orderly system to ensure each Guest Service agents can efficiently and effectively perform the following tasks, and frequently is required to perform these tasks personally: Answers inquiries pertaining to lodging policies and services. Advise guests of available activities such as skiiing, skating, sleigh-rides, local events and other activities or concierge services as requested. Interface with vendors and suppliers to ensure adequate delivery of supplies and services. Greets guests and owners. Maintain a secure key control system to ensure the safety of our guests, owners, and their property. Arrange for special services and equipment.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Reservations and Spreadsheet software. Proficiency in FRS software is preferred.

    • Valid drivers license and good driving record required - Must provide DMV record with application.

    Base hourly pay range: $26.00 - $28.00 hourly

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.

    • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

    • The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh and varying outside weather conditions.

    Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate. Employee will be required to handle hazardous materials including diesel exhaust fluid, gasoline, etc.
