Guest Services & Event Setup Associate

Location: The Rockwell Museum, Rockwell Museum Store & KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab – Corning, NY

The Rockwell Museum is seeking enthusiastic individuals to support Guest Services and Event Setup operations. This is a part-time to full-time contract position hired through a staffing agency, offering the opportunity to work in one of Corning's premier cultural destinations.

What You'll Do

• Greet and assist museum visitors with a warm, professional attitude.
• Sell admissions, memberships, and Museum Store merchandise.
• Answer visitor questions and help create an exceptional guest experience.
• Support activities at the KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, podiums, and equipment.
• Prepare spaces for receptions, concerts, lectures, private events, and other museum programs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.

• Detail-oriented and able to follow directions effectively.

Position Details

• Location: The Rockwell Museum, Corning, NY
• Employment Type: Part-time to full-time contract assignment
• Hiring: This position is employed through a staffing agency and assigned to The Rockwell Museum.
• Pay Rate:$16.30–$16.40 per hour
• Flexible scheduling (hours vary based on operational needs)
• Paid training provided
• Business casual dress code
