We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Guest Services provides the point of contact for all guests in the 10,000 square foot Fitness Center. The Fitness Concierge is expected to provide world-class service to all members and guests, assist members with fitness class signups, keep area clean, safe, organized assist floor staff when needed, build and update class schedules and other duties as assigned. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Directly aligns with the Morristown Landing's Mission Statement and Core ValuesComplete rounds on the fitness floor such as equipment upkeep, cleaning, checking in on members/guests needs, etc.Maintain the fitness area computer systemGreet members and guests and provide prompt answers and directions as neededCultivate an environment of world-class fitness instruction with enthusiasm to all Morristown Landing visitors, members, and customersBe knowledgeable about prices, programming, and the daily venue schedule Assist with maintaining accurate records of participant waivers, event information and incident reportsWork to resolve all guest concerns and complaints and/or direct to appropriate ManagerHelp provide guest feedback/concerns medium for communication, and direct that feedback to the appropriate supervisor Understand and help enforce Morristown Landing's policies and proceduresComplete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma, GED or bachelor's degree in exercise science, health education, public health or related field is preferred Minimum of two years of experience in a sport/fitness center or customer service Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessaryHighly recommend CPR/AED/First Aid certification - currently holding or willing to become certifiedExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to operate and use all equipment in facilities WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 20 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bendWill be required to operate a computer and phoneMust wear proper uniformMust be able to pass a drug screening and background check
