Overview:

Schedule: Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM-6:00 AM, two weekdays variable hours

 

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Guest Services Representative represents hospital as an information resource, and provides visitor triage, in the hospital lobbies in accordance with CHLA visitation and safety policies and procedures.

 

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Bilingual Spanish preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in front desk, hospitality, or call-center operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn hospital policies and visitor management protocols.
  • Ability to use computers, phones, visitor management systems and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods to assist families with directions or escorting when needed.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Pay Scale Information: CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
