Part-Time: 8-hour shifts - Alternating schedule 2-3 days per week

Summary:Exemplifies standards of hospitality and service to all of our internal and external customers.Greets and directs visitors and patients of the hospital to their destination, and is a resource for information and guidance.Always provides exceptional customer service with every interaction.Job Qualifications:Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of high school subject matter possibly including sciences, simple medical procedures or terminology or office equipment.   Experience: Minimum of 12 months of direct customer service or hotel/hospitality experience.   License:  N/A.Working ConditionsPhysical:  Requires standing for full shift while on duty (no sitting or leaning except on break), walking distances to escort visitors, pushing guests in wheelchairs, and other constant physical movements on a routine basis. Also, frequent lifting/pushing/pulling of heavy items long distances and up inclined floors (ie wheelchairs with guests, including bariatric wheelchairs with bariatric guests).Mental: Some irregularity in scheduled hours because of compensated overtime requirements, including weekend rotation, or occasional stress due to periodic or cyclical workload pressures.    Environmental: Some minor physical inconvenience or discomfort routinely present in the work situation (moderately noisy, disagreeable odors, etc.) or occasional exposure to minor injury or other occupational hazards requiring precaution.Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterityOccupational: Some occupational riskPhysical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort.
