Exciting opportunity to work with a non-profit agency conducting annual visitor intercept surveys. This is a random survey of recreational park users to help better understand how people travel to and around the park area. The surveys are to be collected at six different locations throughout the park over three weekends. The goal is to collect surveys at each location. The survey itself is a brief self-report survey that can be given to visitors to fill out (or read aloud to them if they need assistance). All survey administrators are encouraged to take the survey to familiarize themselves with the survey before administering it to visitors.
We are in need to staff one person from 9:45am-3:15pm on the following dates:
Friday, August 14th Saturday, August 15th
Instructions: (Will be provided to read at home (1 hour paid) prior to starting)
1. Ask or approach visitors that appear to be 18 years of age or older 2. For groups of people, use the following guidelines: a. Generally, one survey per group or party b. Large groups that arrived in multiple vehicles: one survey per vehicle c. Large groups that arrived by tour bus: one survey per party 3. Encourage respondents to take the entire survey. 4. Be prepared to answer any questions that may pertain to the survey questions if the respondent needs assistance. Please do not hand tablets to respondents.

The survey will help the Agency learn how people travel to and around the Park, as well as what their visitor experience is.

Questions about the Survey and Sponsors: If the respondents want to know who is sponsoring the survey, you can say: The Park is a non-profit entity that manages transportation-related issues in the Park
If the respondent has questions about what the survey data will be used for, you can say: The Park Agency will use this information for their planning and to make informed decisions about transportation facilities within the park.
