What You Can Expect

Accountable for the functions and operations of the Z-Hotel; ensuring accommodations are cared for in a timely manner.

How You'll Create Impact

• Duties will include cleaning guest rooms to standard which would involve bed making, dusting, bathroom clean up, vacuuming, and other required cleaning.
• Responsible for upkeep and cleanliness of common areas in a high quality corporate hotel. These areas include but are not limited to restrooms, windows, hallways, elevator, utility rooms, reception area, break area, building exterior, carpets, etc.
• Responsible for all orders and maintaining inventory as needed throughout the hotel. Ability to learn client-based software that is used for some orders.
• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel when needed.
• Work front desk shifts as needed.
• Preparing the guest attendant room assignment sheets (break out the house) to start housekeepers for their day.
• Wash, fold, and sort laundry as needed.
• Tear down breakfast as needed.
• Responsible for administrative duties assigned by management to help support guest relations such as, but not limited to room inspections, guest surveys, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Must be able to follow written procedures covering such items as cleaning, making beds, washing linens, folding towels, ironing pillow cases, and emergency procedures,
• Able to lift 45 pounds, operate all types of cleaning equipment, clean and reach floor level, tub level and ceiling levels, able to complete detailed cleaning checklists.
• Able to arrive on time for work and some overtime may be required, able to greet all customers with a smile and pleasant verbal greeting, must be willing to participate in outside grounds pickup/cleanliness as necessary,
• Able to take verbal and written instruction, and able to carry out any other responsibility assigned by management.

Your Background

• High School diploma and valid driver license required.
• Previous experience within hotel industry is preferred, but not required.
