This role is hands-on and service-driven. You’ll help keep the Resource Center running day-to-day supporting guests, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and assisting with basic operations. It’s a fast-moving role where compassion, consistency, and calm under pressure matter as much as practical skills.
Welcome and assist guests with dignity and respect
Support daily services (showers, laundry, supplies, etc.)
Help maintain a clean, safe, and structured environment
Assist with basic intake, check-ins, and documentation
Restock supplies and support facility upkeep
Work closely with staff and volunteers to keep operations flowing
Calm, steady presence in busy or challenging environments
Strong communication and people skills
Reliable, consistent, and team-oriented mindset
Ability to set boundaries with empathy and professionalism
Comfort with active, physical, and fast-paced work
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Ability to stay composed in high-need situations
Physical requirements: Active role with standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs, and general facility support tasks.
Background in nonprofit, ministry, social services, or admin support
Experience working with vulnerable or underserved populations
This role requires alignment with the Christian mission and values of Exodus Family Ministries, including agreement with our Statement of Faith and active participation in a local evangelical church.
