EMPLOYMENT TERMS: August 3-6, 3.5 hrs per day
JOB GOAL: To help students in educational, personal/social, and career development and to supervise the activities of the guidance department and its staff.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in planning and implementing the master schedule for New London High School.
- Registers new students and ensures proper class placement.
- Sends, receives, and evaluates students transcripts.
- Corrects scheduling errors and balances students' schedules.
- Assists the registrar in sending out report cards.
- Answers questions concerning grades arising after the teachers leave for the summer.
- Assists in revising the student handbook.
- Assists the administration in planning for the opening of school in September.
- Performs such other related duties as the principal may from time to time assign.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Connecticut certification
- Such additional requirements as the Board may consider advisable and acceptable.
SALARY: $41/hr
