Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Guidewire Architect. Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer who is proficient in the use of Guidewire Policy Center and Cloud technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and will bring a solid understanding of Guidewire Suite applications to drive innovation and transform our policy administration processes. Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within the Guidewire Policy Center suite
  • Leverage expertise in cloud technologies to develop cloud-based Guidewire solutions
  • Assist in the configuration, integration, and customization of Guidewire products as per business requirements
  • Work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand the insurance business requirements and translate them into technical design
  • Create and maintain documentation such as system architecture, design, and technical specifications
  • Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to optimize performance
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Stay current with the latest Guidewire and cloud technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to future projects
  • Provide post-implementation support, including problem resolution and bug fixes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing, configuring, and implementing solutions with Guidewire Policy Center
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
  • Proven experience with Java/J2EE and web services (REST/SOAP)
  • Experience in full software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and support
  • Good knowledge of insurance industry standards and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Requires prolonged sitting/standing and the ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time
  • Guidewire certification is a plus
  • Proficiency in GOSU, rules engine, and data model is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
