We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Guidewire PolicyCenter expertise to support a leading insurance client. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations. This role requires working closely with business users, product owners, and technical teams to deliver high-quality insurance solutions.
Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Guidewire PolicyCenter enhancements, implementations, and integrations within the insurance domain.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, underwriters, and development teams to translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and gap analysis sessions to define future-state business processes.
Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with Guidewire developers, QA teams, and solution architects throughout the SDLC to ensure successful delivery of PolicyCenter solutions.
Support testing activities including UAT planning, test case review, defect triage, and validation of business functionality.
Analyze policy administration workflows, underwriting processes, rating structures, and insurance product configurations within Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Provide ongoing production support, impact analysis, and change management assistance for PolicyCenter-related initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of Business Analyst experience, including significant hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance operations, policy lifecycle, underwriting, and policy administration processes.
Proven experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, business process modeling, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
