Job Description-
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Performance Tester with strong expertise in performance and load testing of Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system performance, scalability, reliability, and stability under various load conditions for Guidewire implementations and modernization initiatives within the P&C Insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for Guidewire applications
- Identify and analyze critical business transactions such as:
- New Business (NB)
- Endorsements
- Renewals
- FNOL (First Notice of Loss)
- Claims lifecycle
- Develop, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or K6
- Perform performance testing across UI, APIs (REST/SOAP), and batch processing systems
- Monitor system performance across application, middleware, and database layers
- Identify bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis (CPU, memory, garbage collection, database, network, etc.)
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues
- Prepare detailed performance reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders
- Ensure performance testing aligns with Agile/Scrum delivery cycles
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 7+ years of experience in performance testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire:
- PolicyCenter
- ClaimCenter
- BillingCenter
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as:
- Good understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
