Role Overview
We are seeking a Guidewire Performance Tester with strong hands-on experience in performance and load testing of Guidewire PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter applications. The candidate will be responsible for validating system performance, scalability, reliability, and stability under expected and peak load conditions for Guidewire implementations and modernization programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5 7 years of experience in performance testing
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter
Expertise in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner / JMeter / K6
Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain
Experience testing web services / APIs (REST/SOAP)
Strong SQL skills for database validation and performance analysis
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for Guidewire applications
Analyze performance requirements and identify critical business transactions (NB, Endorsements, Renewals, FNOL, Claims lifecycle)
Develop and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner / JMeter / K6
Execute performance tests for UI, API, and batch jobs
Monitor system behavior and analyze results across applications, middleware, and database layers
Identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis (CPU, memory, GC, DB, network), and recommend tuning actions
Work closely with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues
Prepare performance test reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
High ownership mindset with proactive issue resolution
Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Prior enterprise or BFSI experience preferred
