Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter (GWPC) and Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP). The ideal candidate will have strong solution architecture experience, hands-on Guidewire development skills, and extensive knowledge of cloud-native implementations, integrations, and insurance domain best practices. This role requires a technical leader who can drive end-to-end Guidewire Cloud implementations while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
10+ years of experience in Guidewire and Enterprise Architecture
Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter (GWPC)
Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) implementations
Expertise in Guidewire Configuration, Integration, JPD (Java Product Definition), and APD (Advanced Product Designer)
Strong experience in Solution Architecture and hands-on development
Expertise with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and messaging frameworks
Experience with cloud-native architecture and cloud deployment models
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud release management
Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance preferred
Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Guidewire PolicyCenter on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
Design and implement Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, integrations, JPD, and APD solutions.
Develop scalable integration architectures using REST APIs, SOAP services, messaging frameworks, and external system integrations.
Provide hands-on technical leadership and development support to Guidewire delivery teams.
Define architecture standards, development best practices, coding guidelines, and design patterns.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability across Guidewire Cloud implementations.
Support cloud deployment activities, release planning, and CI/CD implementation.
Design Guidewire data models, product models, and enterprise integration architecture.
Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Guidewire Cloud adoption, modernization, and migration initiatives.
Mentor development teams and perform architecture reviews to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Guidewire development and solution architecture.
Extensive experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire Cloud Platform.
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Configuration, Integration, JPD, and APD.
Experience designing enterprise integrations using REST, SOAP, and messaging technologies.
Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and deployment models.
Experience in Agile development environments and enterprise-scale insurance implementations.
Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
