Technical Skills
- Java/J2EE fundamentals.
- REST and SOAP Web Services.
- XML, JSON, XSD.
- SQL and relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
- Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or similar version control tools.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with cloud environments is a plus.
Functional
- Guidewire PolicyCenter Certified Professional/Developer.
- Experience with InsuranceSuite upgrades and cloud implementations.
- Experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines Insurance.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Guidewire PolicyCenter development and enhancement activities.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical design solutions.
- Configure and customize PolicyCenter using Gosu, PCF, Data Model, Rules, Workflows, and Product Model.
- Design and develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP web services, messaging, and batch processes.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices.
- Support release planning, deployment activities, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
- Participate in estimation, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend solutions.
Salary Range- $120,000-$160,000 a year
