Description

Manage and direct open gym programs at the Plymouth Community Center.

• Current and future programs include basketball, pickleball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis.
• Programs will be offered primarily on the weekends (Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday), with some limited weekday programs. Excellent opportunity for someone looking to work weekend shifts and a few evenings.
• Anticipated hours: 10 - 15 hours/week.

Essential Functions

• Set up the gym for program use; take down equipment at the end of the evening
• Monitor play in the gym and flex the space as needed
• Facilitate wait lists for play as needed
• Facilitate full court to half court play as the crowd size dictates as needed
• Ensure all participants have paid and are displaying a wrist band
• Maintain sports equipment as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old
• Must be able to work until 9:00PM on weeknights
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be confident enforcing rules with participants

Seasonal, temporary and non-regular employees are not eligible for benefits.
