What You'll Do

As Gym Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the gym while leading a team focused on delivering an outstanding member experience.

Leadership

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team

  • Lead daily huddles and weekly meetings

  • Create a culture built on accountability, positivity, and results

  • Coach employees to achieve personal and professional growth

Membership Growth

  • Meet with prospective members and guide them through our proven sales process

  • Help people overcome barriers and begin their fitness journey

  • Build relationships that create long-term member loyalty

Team Performance

  • Monitor club KPIs and drive results

  • Coach team members on sales, service, and retention

  • Celebrate wins and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Ensure operational standards are consistently met

Community Engagement

  • Represent Anytime Fitness throughout the community

  • Develop partnerships with local businesses, schools, and organizations

  • Coordinate marketing events and community outreach

  • Build referral relationships that grow the club

Member Experience

  • Create a welcoming, clean, and motivating environment

  • Resolve member concerns with professionalism and urgency

  • Foster a culture where every member feels valued and supported

Successful Club Managers:

Compensation

Base Salary

Competitive based on experience

Additional Earnings

  • Monthly commissions

Schedule

Typical Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Occasional Saturdays for promotions, events, or community outreach.

Flexibility is important. Leaders set the tone and are willing to step in when the team needs them.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership or management experience

  • Sales or customer service experience

  • Experience coaching or developing others

  • Strong computer skills

  • Valid driver's license

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Fitness industry experience is a plus—but not required.

We'll provide the systems, training, and support to help you succeed.
