Primary Responsibilities:
Clinical Expertise & Leadership
Deliver specialized clinical care across all facets of Gynecology, encompassing preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services.
Formulate and execute evidence-based clinical guidelines and best practices to guarantee high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
Assess and manage intricate gynecologic conditions; conduct in-office and surgical interventions such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and colposcopies.
Guide and mentor Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, to uphold clinical excellence and ensure coordinated care delivery.
Foster open and effective communication with staff, patients, and interdisciplinary teams.
Oversight of APPs & Team Collaboration
Offer clinical supervision, direction, and education to APPs in the provision of gynecologic care.
Encourage teamwork and ensure seamless coordination within the Women’s Health team.
Engage in the orientation, training, and performance evaluation of APPs.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Assess and monitor the quality of care delivered, ensuring compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
Lead or participate in initiatives aimed at improving quality to enhance patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.
Guarantee precise and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
Education & Professional Growth
Contribute to the education and ongoing professional development of staff within the department.
Remain updated on advancements in gynecologic medicine and incorporate new evidence-based practices.
Patient-Focused Care
Champion patient rights, safety, and informed decision-making.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that prioritizes respect, communication, and education.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree with a focus on Gynecology.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in the relevant state.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in gynecologic practice (OB experience is not mandatory).
Experience in mentoring or supervising APPs is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Dedication to medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and ongoing quality improvement.

BLS certification.
Medical Doctor degree.
