Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Gynecologic Oncologist, you will diagnose and treat cancers of the female reproductive system (ovarian, uterine, cervical, vaginal, vulvar), integrating complex pelvic surgeries with advanced medical therapies.

Every day you will perform intricate radical and minimally invasive surgeries, develop individualized medical treatment plans, and lead multidisciplinary collaborations in Tumor Boards. You will provide comprehensive care from diagnosis through long-term survivorship, supported by our extensive organizational resources.

To be successful, you will be a highly skilled, board-certified (or eligible) Gynecologic Oncologist with intensive sub-specialty training. You will possess exceptional proficiency in complex surgical techniques, strategic treatment planning, and effective communication, dedicated to patient advocacy and clinical excellence.

  • Diagnose and stage gynecologic cancers using physical exams, biopsies, blood work, and imaging.
  • Perform radical, complex, and minimally invasive/robotics gynecologic surgeries.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, hormonal therapies, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
  • Participate in Tumor Boards with radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists for coordinated care.
  • Provide long-term follow-up for recovery monitoring, recurrence screening, and survivorship care.
  • Adhere to AMA medical ethics and relevant specialty board standards.
  • Leverage Physician Group resources to optimize operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

Required

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required
