    Description

    Practice evidence-based medicine in a strong, cohesive environment with excellent administrative support and designated OR time. Brown Health Medical Group, in partnership with Brown University Health’s Rhode Island Hospital, has an opportunity for a GYN oncologist to join our collegial group.

    The Job:
    • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for women with gynecologic cancers, including evaluation, diagnosis, surgical management, and coordination of multidisciplinary treatment plans
    • Work in a highly collaborative setting with Obstetric Gynecologists, Gyn-only providers, MIGS Surgeons, medical oncology, radiation oncology, palliative care.
    • Perform complex oncologic surgical cases, including minimally invasive robotics, and open procedures.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, care conferences, and treatment planning meetings
    • HIPEC program in place
    • 2 clinic days per week 1-2 days OR/Robotics time and 1 day flex time
    • Surgery performed primarily at Rhode Island Hospital and clinic time nearby and a beautifully converted mill building
    • Opportunities to also work in Newport, RI or Fall River, MA
    • Teach residents and medical students with a Brown University academic appointment
