Accountability and Duties:
- Assists Client Managers in the procurement of new work with innovative and creative solutions
- Has ability to create strong personal relationship with the Client and teammates
- Establishes a clear Client communication protocol for the project (method and frequency).
- Ensures Client expectations and critical success factors are consistent with PM’s understanding (fee/scope/schedule/deliverables).
- Ensures design solutions are consistent with the Client's goals.
- Provides project oversight.
- Obtains feedback on Client satisfaction.
- Approves the project team to ensure the team is qualified to successfully execute the project.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or closely related field
- P.E. license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Natural leader willing to champion a team of engineers and technicians
- Talent in project management, including familiarity with design software
- 7 - 10 years of experience in Drainage/H&H Engineering with an innovative approach to complex problem solving
- Valid Driver's License
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
PE license required, Valid driver’s license
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Outstanding writing, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Must be fluent in the English language.
