Responsibilities
- Review job packets and setup instructions to prepare for each run
- Set up Haas machines and load/execute programs accurately
- Verify program accuracy through test runs or in‑process checks
- Monitor jobs continuously to ensure correct speeds, feeds, and tolerances
- Maintain detailed records and document any issues or adjustments
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and collaborate with the team to implement them
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized
- Notify management of any machine or consumable concerns
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to load and execute CNC programs
- Blueprint reading skills (preferred)
- Solid math skills — algebra, geometry, measurements
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- 2-3 year of machining experience
- Trade school preferred (not required)
