Your impact as a QA Technician

Every shift, you are the safeguard that ensures our products meet enterprise standards and our internal “Grandma Quality” benchmark. You’ll be a coach on the floor, a meticulous recordkeeper, and a partner to our Supervisor in training and readiness for audits.

Core responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operational inspections prior to start-up.
• Execute in-process quality checks and verify critical control points.
• Assess finished product against specifications and sensory/quality targets.
• Confirm sanitation completion and review environmental monitoring data.
• Maintain precise FSQA records; support audit planning and walk-throughs.
• Train Associates on inspection practices and compliant documentation.
• Identify nonconformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional food safety coursework preferred.
• 2+ years of QA/FSQA in food manufacturing.
• Hands-on familiarity with HACCP programs, GMPs, and basic microbiology.
• Understanding of FDA and USDA regulatory frameworks.

Working conditions

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfort working in both refrigerated and hot production areas while wearing PPE.
