Sharkey's Nanuet is currently looking for a talented and passionate Hair Stylist or Barber to join our fun, and growing team in Nanuet, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to do what you love in a welcoming environment where creativity and client connection are at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to a diverse clientele
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients
- Perform kids' and adult haircuts with precision and care
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation at all times
- Upsell retail hair care products and additional services to clients
- Stay current with trending styles, techniques, and barbering best practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive salon experience for every guest
Requirements:- Valid New York State Cosmetology or Barber license required
- Prior experience as a hair stylist, barber, or in a salon/barbershop setting preferred
- Strong cutting, styling, and finishing skills across a variety of hair types
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
