About the Role :Christie & Co. Salon is looking for talented and passionate Hair Stylists and Hair Extension Specialists to join our team in Bay Terrace, NY! Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and styling
• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend appropriate treatments
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with salon standards
• Build and retain a loyal clientele through exceptional customer service
• Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge
• Upsell retail hair care products and additional salon services to clients

Requirements:

• Valid New York State Cosmetology License required
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Hair Extension Specialist in a salon setting
• Proficiency in cutting, coloring, and styling techniques for all hair types
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
• Knowledge of professional hair care products and brands
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented professional
