Belliard’s Salon & Spa, an established Aveda Concept salon in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our team. We welcome junior stylists ready to build their clientele and experienced stylists seeking a place to grow.

Our multicultural salon welcomes a diverse clientele with a variety of hair textures and styling needs.


The ideal candidate is comfortable providing services independently, eager to continue learning, and committed to building lasting guest relationships.


Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations to understand each guest’s hair texture, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
  
  
• Provide professional haircuts, blowouts, styling, and treatments tailored to each guest.
  
  
• Perform color services within your demonstrated skill level, including root touch-ups, highlights, and dimensional color.
  
  
• Incorporate Aveda products and signature rituals into the guest experience.
  
  
• Recommend home-care products and explain how guests can maintain their results between visits.
  
  
• Encourage rebooking and build lasting relationships through consistent service and attentive care.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow salon sanitation procedures.
  
  
• Participate in team meetings, continued education, and salon initiatives.
  
  
• Support a welcoming, respectful team environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited cosmetology program and a current New Jersey cosmetology license.
  
  
• Junior or experienced stylist with the ability to perform core hair services independently.
  
  
• A strong foundation in haircutting, styling, and hair color.
  
  
• Experience working with diverse hair textures is valued.
  
  
• Aveda experience is a plus; willingness to learn our products and service standards is essential.
  
  
• Strong consultation, communication, and guest-service skills.
  
  
• Professional, dependable, and receptive to coaching and continued education.
  
  
• Interest in building a clientele and growing with an established salon team.
