Just graduated from cosmetology school? Looking for the right salon to begin your career?

This position is designed for newly licensed cosmetologists who aren't quite ready to build a clientele or work independently behind the chair—but are eager to learn, grow, and develop alongside some of the industry's best professionals.

At Robert Andrew Salon & Spa, we believe great stylists aren't rushed onto the floor. They're developed through mentorship, education, and real salon experience. As a Stylist Assistant/Shampoo Technician, you'll gain invaluable hands-on experience while supporting our talented team and preparing for your future behind the chair.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional shampooing and scalp massage services.
• Apply conditioning treatments, glosses, toners, and other salon treatments as directed.
• Prepare guests for their services by draping, detangling, and ensuring their comfort.
• Assist stylists throughout the day with service support and client care.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of shampoo areas, styling stations, dispensary, and common areas.
• Restock products, towels, color supplies, and retail displays.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily salon responsibilities.
• Deliver a warm, luxury-level guest experience from arrival through departure.
• Continue learning salon systems, service standards, and advanced techniques.
