About the Role:
Fantastic Sam's in Clifton Park is looking for a talented and passionate Hairstylist/Barber to join our growing team! If you love transforming clients' looks and building lasting relationships in a fun, creative environment, this is the opportunity for you.



Responsibilities:

• Provide a full range of hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments for all hair types
• Perform barbering services such as men's cuts, fades, tapers, and beard trims
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend appropriate services
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with state regulations
• Build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional customer service
• Stay current on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge
• Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance the client experience

Requirements:

• Valid New York State Cosmetology or Barbering license required
• Experience in hairstyling, barbering, or a combination of both preferred
• Proficiency in cuts, color, fades, and styling techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Self-motivated with the ability to build and grow a personal clientele
• Professional, reliable, and passionate about the craft
