Position Information

Title Half (.5) Graduate Assistant - Minnock Institute, Global Programs Position Description

The Half Graduate Assistant (.5 GA) will work 10 hours per week and receive up to 15 credits of tuition and student fee waivers: 6 for fall, 6 for spring, and 3 for summer.

Overview and Duties

The Graduate Assistant will support the Minnock Institute for Global Engagement (MIGE) in communications, program support, and digital content creation.

Primary responsibilities include capturing photographs, creating presentations, compiling event lists, and working closely with the MIGE Communications and Events Coordinator (Sasha) to develop and maintain web content and communications that reflect BSU's global programs.

Additional responsibilities include supporting website content updates, assisting with the production of international student spotlights and program features, and contributing to social media content development. The GA may also provide light administrative coordination support for MIGE events and initiatives as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience in photography, an interest in website design, and content management. This individual is self-directed and comfortable engaging with diverse students and communities. Strong written communication skills and an interest in international education, global engagement, or intercultural storytelling are also excellent qualifications to have.
