Pool season is fast approaching with its annual early June opening and the Recreation Department is hiring.

Expected Work Environment for all positions

Indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to water and potential water hazards.

Job Summary

The Recreation Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill various summer positions at the Hamilton Lowe Aquatic Center.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patron inquiries
• Participate in pool operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Assist with aquatic programs and events
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to water and potential water hazards
