As a Hand Packaging Technician, you'll support daily operations by preparing and packaging products efficiently. You'll perform quality control checks, such as verifying package counts, dates, and weights, while ensuring the appearance meets standards. Your responsibilities include folding, taping boxes, applying labels, and stacking pallets. You'll also operate equipment like pallet jacks, tapers, carts, and shrink wrap machines to keep the workflow moving smoothly, even in varying temperature environments.
What Youll Do:
- Manually prepare, package, and label products accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet standards.
- Fold, tape, label boxes, and stack pallets for proper storage and shipment.
- Operate equipment including pallet jacks, tapers, carts, and shrink wrap machines.
- Maintain high attention to detail while working quickly in a busy setting.
- Work comfortably in environments with different temperatures, wearing steel-toed rubber boots (mandatory).
What Youll Bring:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings.
- Basic math skills for measurements and counts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Adaptability to temperature changes and physical handling demands.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Springfield, OR. Youll work a steady daytime shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
